Zoli,
I have traced the problem to update 835732. If I uninstall this update, hibernate
works fine. This has occurred both on my laptop and on a desktop machine. So it does
not appear to be machine or bios dependant. You might let me know if you have this
update installed. I think at this point I will wait for the next service pack and
hope that this fixes it.
