Unfortunately, I know of no way to fix this. I believe that one of the udated files
(of which there are many) has some sort of interaction with the timing needed to
activate the hibernation (or standby as well). I have tried to see which processes
are associated with the power management features to see if replacing one or more
of the old files would fix this. But I have not been able to do this. I would need
some sort of software guide to see if a 'dll' file or other system file would be
responsible. If I make any progress, I'll let you know.
