This event followed a vicious attack, which got past my Goggle popup blocker and instantly loaded my machine with a bunch of malware the worst of which was vx2. After many cleansings using AdAware and SpyBot, I believe my machine is now free of these intruders. I tried the toolbar fix and as you said, it did not fix the problem. Still looking for a solution.
