thanks for the info - but what I want (to have folders appearing in the left hand pane whenever I use windows explorer) doesn't work. I can set all folders to use the current view all I like, but when I've closed down windows explorer and opened a new window, I'm back where I started. Any clever bug-fixes for this? I'm bored having to repeatedly reset the view every time I go into explorer... :-(
