Well it's not SpyBot that's holding it back..
SpyBot is just a remover and it's not a TSR (it only runs when you ask it to) it's 
true that it has Immunizer with it but it will not go into play until you get on 
the net and are loading items up to view..
More like a Firewall that's holding your machine back at dialup internet access.
or the reg file slowing down your boot up..and  internet access............
Try this...see below,also check your setting on your firewall

Consolidate the Registry fragments left from installing and uninstalling programs. 
Fragmented space slows down your computer; this utility corrects the problem by writing 
the data in the Registry out into a temporary file. The data is written sequentially, 
so no holes from deleted data or fragmentation are retained. The utility then reboots 
the computer, and the compacted Registry information is replaced when the system 
starts up.
