Question about 'Getting Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to work with PPPoE' Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 9:03 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Carlos (1 messages posted) I have a host with windows 2000 and 2 nics, the ICS was working fine but suddenly the client machine (Win XP) 'cause error trying to get the IP from the server (win2k), it says "no connection or limited connection" and if i see the IP address over ipconfig command it comes another IP number e.g. 162.180.152.10 and Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0 instead of the original ones like 192.168.0.6 subNet MAsk 255.255.255.0, I tried to repair the connection to get reassigned the IP but it didn't work, I tried to configure the server again but it didn't work, Please help me.
