By default win2k OS is a network computer..
When you boot it up , it should ask you what use is loging on and ask for the user
name and password..
If you are the Admin. you would put that name in (Administrator.or name for the Admin.)
and a password to get to the desktop..
If you do that you are logon as the Admin.
If you don't recall goto the Control Panel/Admin.Tools and check on the user list...The
default will be called Admin. and others will be listed but it will NOT show the
passwords with out 3rd party software...(sam files/password files)

If you are the Admin. take ownership of the machine..
See the win2k HELP files on "ownership" it will tell you how to do that..
