Help! Please someone let me know how to fix my home network. I have 5 computers. All on the same Workgroup. All getting IP addresses fro a lynksys DHCP router. All folders shared out can be accessed and browsed from My Network Places. However, For some reason, I can use "\\Machinename\C$" on only one computer. When I use this string to try to access the others, I am prompted for a login, but the login screen name is set at guest, and is grayed out. Even if I set up the guest account on the other computers, The password I set never works when I try to use it from a remote machine. I went through all the services for the other machines. I made sure all were Itentical to the one "\\Machinename\c$" works on. I even went into Admin tools and made sure that c$ was listed under network shares. I can access the one Workstation from any other in the workgroup, but no others from any workstation. Anyone have an answer to this riddle. Please let me know. Thanks.
