re: Question about 'Use True-Color Icons' Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 6:03 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by jason k (1 messages posted) After reading through several forums on this issues, messing w/ the video driver, color profiles, TweakUI, 'show all possible colors', regedit, etc. the post about netmeeting is what helped me solve this annoying problem. I realized I had just configured NetMeeting to 'enable desktop sharing'. What a strange problem, but after 'disabling desktop sharing' and rebooting it worked.....well i should say i had to uncheck the 'show icons in all available colors' button, apply it, and then recheck and apply and it worked.
