It only gets to the the initial windows 2000 screen and hangs. Below is a list of troubleshooting steps so far: 1) Boot in safe mode - windows hangs 2) Boot into Last known good configuration - windows hangs 3) Reset default settings in BIOS - windows hangs 4) Boot to windows 2000 CD - produces error message: disk I/O error status = 00008000 ntdetect 5) unplug HD, floppy drive and boot to windows 2000 CD - produces error message: disk I/O error status = 00008000 ntdetect any help, ideas or extra troubleshotting steps very much appreciated.
