I'm not sure whats causing it, but: "Printer operation cannot continue due to lack
of resources. The print system is unavailable." <-- sounds like the spool service
has stopped running, which would cause the printers to "disappear".
You can restart the spooler service by right clicking 'My Computer' --> Manage -->
Services and Applications --> services' finding the 'Print Spooler' service, right
click it, and choose 'Restart'
I'm at a loss to say why its stopping, but you need to at least get the most recent
drivers for the printer before continuing.
Is it a local printer or a network one?
Marc.
