I have a win2k server controlling several network printers connected directly into the LAN that are then shared out. Periodically no-one will be able to print to any of the printers. Printers folder on the server will be empty and I'll get an RPC error message. If I reboot all will be fine . This always appears to when there is windows updates ready for install (updates are all set to download automatically). I'm not sure if this is coincidence or not. Any ideas anybody?
