It goes all the way through until it gets to "Saving Settings..." part of installing windows. Then it sort of "suspends" but doesnt completely shut off (same thing as it did before with 2000 on) and if you hold the button down it makes those wacky noises. I am thinking its the hard drive?? I am gonna go out and buy another one tomorrow and hope it works. Any other ideas or am i pretty much screwed?
