Sounds like your drive problem might have been stuck read/write head. I don't have
a HW problem, and after running FIXBOOT from Console and got it to the point it says
the BOOT.INI can't be read and then the \system32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt.
Onward . . . to data . . . hopefully ;>
