This is NOT a good idea for the following reason: "My Computer" will be excluded from ALL enumerations including the ones in File Open/Save dialogs.

Many applications that depend on the drives in your system being child objects of the Desktop will be rendered unusable since you will not be able to browse your local drives. Others will simply crash, as is the case with WinRAR.
