What you need to do is examine the boot.ini file to determine the path that xp and 2000 "live" in. You would then delete the entry that refers to the OS you don't want to keep. You then also delete the entire directory of the OS you want to dump. Also, if you format the C: drive, you will almost certainly wind up with an unbootable system because 99 times out of 100, that is where your boot files are stored.
