Hello All: Am I missing something easy? I had to install a fresh copy of Win2K on my machine (hard drive died). Now at certain times the svchost.exe app will go wild and take up as much as 99% of the system and all the other apps slow to a crawl and I have to reboot and all is fine until it happens again. It doesn't happen right away, and am not sure yet what triggers it. I may have something to do with IE or dialing my ISP (not sure though). Any ideas? Scott.
