The DSL box can be moved to just about any phone jack in the house or get a (wrieless)
router or two, cheap now days...and put them on ea. floor....or one outside on the
patio........
Plugging the cable into the windows nic card from a MAC machine is a long shot
You may want to check the web site called mac world they may a have a tip or two
that may help.
