My Internet explorer had somehow gotten searchby bar installed, and I do not know if this is related. I removed the searchby software, but I still have an annoying problem with a missed hit in the search, everytime my IE goes 404, hit.lookupanything.biz takes over and a popup to change my home page to www.lookupanything.biz appears... while my original window shows the lookupanything search engine.... this is INCREDIBLY annoying, as my history has become overloaded with hit.lookupanything.biz addresses.... does anyone know a fix for this... tried removing history, cookies, and even reloaded IE all to no avail. And the only place hit.lookupanything.biz appears in my registry is in the windows URL history.
