You should not need a reg hack to resize the window.
It's true that the reg file runs the machine but in your case it may be corrupted
file in windows...that's holding it back..
Try this
Start/Run cmd then type the command sfc/scannow
(sfc=system file checker) have your win2k cd on hand..
If you still have the error reboot with win2k cd and run the repair item... (two
of them ) try the fast one 1st.
