COA2 (and its more powerfull but buggier predecessor COA32) make changes to the registry 
to reflect a move of program from one location to another within THE SAME os, that 
is, it will not CREATE new registry entries.
Arthur's situation is similar to moving application from one pc to another, so a 
migration utily is in order. PC Magazine had an article on the subject:

but these programs are not free, and I got the impression that they are not 100% 
successful.
