To start with win2k is not a DOS base OS..
Win2k will not use the autoexec.bat or the config.sys to load the devices up at boot..(for 
DOS base programs to use them in the DOS mode) and that's the key so to speak....

But you can do a thing or two to get them to work in win2k..

Let me ask, are you trying to play a DOS base game in win2k ?  if so what's the name 
of the game/program ?
