for a while I'm finding programms which require the .net platform installed (or the
runtime, if this is not the same).
Until now I refused to think about this .net stuff. But it is perhaps time to change
my mind in this respect.
But I feel unsecure what does this mean for my system if I add this .net platform
? Is there current installation and all the programms installed influecend in any
way ? I have installed the usual internet protection as firewall, antivirus package
and so on. Do I open the PC to the internet more than present with this .net platform
?
That's the kind of question I'm bothered at present. Had a look on a few MS sites,
made a web-search but didn't find a clear answer. Perhaps this is no wonder if MS
will push this tool into the market.
Perhaps at annoyances there are observers wihich can put a little light into the
dark
Regards
Olaf
