Screentips in Word Friday, May 13, 2005 at 7:55 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Kristi (64 messages posted) When I start to type in the date (May 13) the screentip pops up, recently the format of the date in the screentip has changed to May 13, 05. When I just continue to type the date in the correct format a screentip pops up with 05-13-05 and if I hit enter to go the next line, it inserts the 05-13-05 after the date I just typed. The long date format in my regional settings is set at: MMMM d, yyyy When I hold the mouse over the clock, it gives the correct date format. It also gives the correct format in the screentip when I'm typing in a header or footer, and on some documents I made a few months ago. How do I change it back to May 13, 2005? Thanks.
