win 2000 sound problems Friday, May 13, 2005 at 11:33 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by James R Blaisdell (2 messages posted) Hay guys, I was having a problem with win 2000 sound also and i noticed that when i restarted the puter it worked but as soon as i used internet explorer it stoped working so i went into ie options "advanced " and found a box that said "play sounds in a webpage" I unchecked it and restarted and know it works.
