When you format the HD the VIRUS will be gone.
Some times it's best to start over from sq.1.
Not all the time but because you can't get on the net that looks like your best
bet for now.
When you get it backup and running and you can get on the net download AVG and ZoneALarm
to keep you safe on the net..
