Just a brief follow-up:
For various reasons, I haven't had time to work on the computer lately. But I finally
got a new copy of Win2000 and have successfully reformatted! I suppose it was the
CD after all. Unfortunately, I'm now experiencing other problems which are preventing
me from installing any other software (maybe my CD drive suddenly broke?).
Thank you all SO MUCH for all the help, suggestions and encouragement. I really
appreciate it.
