In this same vein, how can I now change each icon so that it will open the desired application when I double-click it. This question is specifically for shortcuts on my desktop with a .lnk extension. Each one's target app is different of course. Currently, each .lnk icon displays the generic Microsoft icon, but the properties of each show the correct target app.
