If you use drive imaging you just burn to several good quality CDRs. I have a drive image of my C: drive on five CDRs. I use Image for Windows and Image for DOS from TeraByte Unlimited. They also make BootIT NG which has a Partition Resizer. (I paid $60 for all four utilities.) So I would say that it is easier and better to make a drive image.
