Good Evening Bruce, Did you get this fixed? I have had the same issue, and I lost the same file as you. Now, I know this is kind of extreme, but I installed a new drive. Then installed the O/S (w2k) and then installed Java. It is working fine now. I am thinking that the updates and / or something else is causing the problem. I have been able to use the apps that I need to use and they are working fine. I am just installing the rest of the updates for the O/S and going to wait and see. Let me know.
