One more note..
Goto the DOS window (cmd)
and type this command in
ipconfig /all and see what comes back
also you can type ipconfig /? to get a list of commands to use.
PLUS
You may also want to run Netdiag from the cmd (DOS window)..
You may not have it on your machine But you can get it from MS
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AAE64B62-27C0-4523-8AF9-66A968A8C942&displaylang=en
download it and then install it
to ********* C:\>iptools *********
from the dos window type cd C:\>iptools
and then type the command netdiag
it's like ipconfig but with more info and tools..
for a list of commands type netdiag /?
