Yes omg finally. for the longest time i didnt believe that the registry thing worked
but someone failed to mention that you have to delete any extra values in the HKCR\.ico
and what not also the . id also like to thank EnderGT. on his take of the "Windows
Explorer, go to Tools >> Folder Options, then choose the File Types tab. Scroll down
to the ICO file type, then click the Restore button in the extension details area.
This removed all associations I had made, and put it back so that their own icons
show.
