Remove fhe file explorer (file manager) Windows flag logo (AKA a "throbber")

The window flag logo in the file explorer has to be among the most annoying of annoyances.
It's always there, reminding me of the incessant corporate quest to establish a franchise
in my mind (where did I read this again?).
Anyway a casual search on annoyances did not return anything. I tried the keywords
"file explorer logo" "file explorer flag" and combinations of those to no result.
Maybe I am missing something obvious. But it turns out that thing is called a "throbber",
which I discovered in a general web search. It can be disabled through a registry
patch. I used the following, which were enclosed in a file called ShellThrobOff.reg:
