Thanks Dex, I turned the messenger service off, I can find my way around W2K pretty
well. I checked the registry, didn't find anything in the run or run once sections
for windows. I know this is just a ploy to get me to buy their software, but I'd
like to get it off this system. This is a system I am building for a friend, so I
don't have the luxury of time to find this nasty little bug... I don't know where
I picked it up... only installed 2 software packages, from what I believe is reputable
companies. Anyway, thanks for the update.
