You are right, the best way to try the Internet Connection Sharing is by having the
Desktop PC online while I try to open IE Explorer on my Laptop. But sadly that didn't
work either. I tried that every which way.
As for DSL, it's not available in our area and the cable Internet is too expensive.
PC Anywhere, LapLink 11.5, i-share (from Lantastic)
I will try those out right now. But can I use both computers at the same time if
I use these programs? Can I be on the internet with my laptop while the desktop
is doing something different? Even if I can only use my Laptop to connect to the
internet, that would be great. My Laptop is wireless so I can use it anywhere in
the house.
