What is your reasoning in suggesting PCI rather than AGP? Even the original
AGP-1 bus had twice the bus speed that a PCI card runs with (66 MHz vs. 33
MHz, PLUS the PCI has to SHARE bandwidth, which slows it further. What
did you think about whether his power supply is a junker that just can't provide
the increased power for 3D?
