I have a nonresponsive os.By this I mean I cannot get into my copy of windows2000
professional.safemode and using the boot cd to "repair"the drive have no effect.
So does using my other os (windows xp) to do a system restore to hopefully bring
back 2000 too.It just hangs at the "loading user settings" window and since there
is only 1 account and it is set on auto log on there is nothing i can do.I have decided
to get rid of this os.How do i get rid of this os without
A.wiping my files on windows XP
B.reformating my harddrive
C.getting into the OS (yes I do have the boot disc)
can anyone please help me solve the problem or delete the OS???
-I have tried to provide as much information as possible to help any of you help
me if anything additional is required please just say so and i will give it to the
best of my ability though i am a bit computer inept.
