You can only share/unshare drives, folders and printers - not individual files. So 
unshare the folder(s) the problem files are in? You might want to check out network 
settings (eg, that NICs are set to full speed - usually full duplex - as xp & 2k 
with no other machines should be a fast connection - assuming 100mbs connection at 
least). Individual files don't usually cause a problem (unless they are huge).
