"I hit option number 2" = ???
Is the HD formated in the fat32 ?
win2k needs 4 files to boot and they must be in the root of c: (master HD) and from
the winnt\syytem32 folder.
BUT if the 2nd HD has NOT been setup up with win2k it will not boot.
But the win2k cd will over ride anything on the HD but that's are far as it will
go with the OS in place on the HD.

Just a Note** You can use Part.Magic 8.0 to setup a new partition and install win2k
on it and still get to your files.
If the HD is setup with fat32 stick with it when you run PM.

τΏτ DEX/Bj You can also help some one :>) Please revisit your post so that others on this forum will know if the solutions were helpful or not helpful .
