Well Yes and No.
You should read the EULA,txt file on your win2k machine b/4 you do it.
Satrt/Run type in EULA.txt
That said,
You said " you don't have the original startup" do you mean you don't have a win2k
cd ?.
You can make a image file and put that on a PC BUT you will run into errors most
of the time when you put the image file on a HD and try booting it up, because most
of the time the hardware will not be the same on both computers.
And you will need a win2k cd to run the repair on the 2nd computer to get the PC
up and running.
It's many things like BISO/CMOS,reg file,HAL,and other items that tell win2k how
to load and run the hardware on the PC.
If the machines are the SAME, yes it will work sometimes.
You can download software to make a image file or you can slave the HD to the main
and use software to make a copy of the 1st HD bit for bit.
If you want links to the software repost and I will post them.
Good Luck
The bottom line is you should get a win2k cd and just install win2k on your home
PC then move the data files you want from your 1st PC to the 2nd one, like doc,jpg,mp3,etc.
