re: No COM Ports?

Just a note,,,,,when windows sees the device it will list it but will put a " yellow
exclaimation point " in front of it when it CAN'T find the drives to use the device.
This is the norm in windows when it can't identify the make,brand.model number of
the device.
And the win2k cd has no driver(s) to support the device.
Is this a laptop PC by chance ???
