I noticed the change drive letter function of disk manager. However, was "scared" to do it because of the rule never write on a hard drive you need to recover. I couldnt find much info on the function (again stupid windows and their lack of help files) so opted that it would be unwise to do it at this point. Once I get the recovery going again, Ill see if it finds those partitions. Forunately I have most of those files on my old hd. Thanks.
