Having moved away from Win2k a long time ago I've
not experienced the GetRawInputDevice error but
searching microsoft shows this as a procedure call
used in WinXP onwards.
It wouldn't suprise me if the DirectX install is again
installing the wrong version of a specific file.
If you can have a look in the dxnt.cab file which
comes as part of the DirectX install and see if any
files with a .w2k extension exist and if they are
different in size and date etc to those installed on
your system. The .w2k files are the ones that are
supposed to be installed on Win2k but for some
reason this may not always be the case resulting in
errors such as "DbEntry1" and possibly even this one
to.
