My original Win2k CD has some scratches which has damaged files in the I386 folder only.

I want to do a repair install of my Win2k. My CD is no good because it has damaged unreadable files inside the I386 folder. So when it gets to the setup it fails upon trying to load the first of these corrupt files

Everyone I know has XP, so I can´t get ahold of another CD.

So am I able to copy the I386 folder from my working XP CD and burn a new Win2k CD with the Win XP I386 folder?

I have already copied the Win2k CD files to my computer. All except the I386 folder which has many of its files corrupt. If the XP I386 folder will work then I could slipstream and burn a brand new win2k installation CD, correct?

All I need is the I386 folder to burn a new working CD. But will the XP I386 driver files work? Are they the same?
