I'm assuming you have your original CD key. If so, it shouldn't be too hard to find
someone who will make a copy of their 2K disk for you. Perhaps even a local repair
shop for a small fee. Just explain that you don't want their key # as you have your
own, and make sure you get the same type of disk i.e. retail, volume license, upgrade
etc. that yours is. Within type all the disks are the same and your original key
# will work. I think that will be an easier route to take than trying to copy just
the 1386 folder and slipsteam it, and besides, there may be other damaged files on
the CD that you aren't aware of.
