Hi there- I have a problem with a Win2k laptop: I think we might be recovering from a previous overheating issue (fan was just replaced), but then when I tried to boot up, the computer came to the point JUST before the splash screen, then reboots without warning. Where the Windows splash scrren should be, I see the Toshiba splash screen. The behavior is the same when booting into safe mode (though it lists drivers instead, the last of which I usually catch a glimpse of as being agp440 something). This is for a friend, and he doesn't have the win2k disc (nor do I). Frustrating, yes. I can't seem to find anything on here except "go to recovery console on the CD..." for problems like this. Anyone have any advice? Please? -Michael
