Is udma mode enabled on windows 2000 sp4? It seems like my hard drive writes extremely slow (~4MBs using 98.7% of my CPU), in device manager under primary IDE channel properties transfer mode is set to DMA if available, but current transfer mode is PIO Mode. My hard drive is fairly new and i know that it supports UDMA Mode 6 since that is what it is running at startup. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
