I recently installed an old game on my pc, that did not install the old version of
QuickTime w/ it. A friend of mine installed it on his XP computer and was able to
install and play it w/ no problem. He just had to install the older version of QT
that was on the CD. The disc said that installation was complete, and there's even
a place in the Programs showing it was installed, but when I try clicking on it,
either nothing happens, or I get a msg. saying "QTINSTAL caused a General Protection
Fault in Module QT16.EXE at 0002:4D83.
Choose Close. QTINSTAL will close.
I've even tried reinstalling QT, only to come up w/ the same thing.
Does anyone have any idea why I'm getting this error and what I need to do to fix
it?
Thank you and good night!
