No, you can only specify last known good configuration (which isn't quite the same 
as the 98 restore previous registry).

If you want additional restore functionality, you'll need to set it up yourself, 
eg using http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/

Also, if you use the 2k backup feature to create an ERD, you will also be offered 
option to backup registry (it goes into \winnt\repair - which will have copy of registry 
from original install/last service pack unless you've updated it since). You could 
obviously manually copy this backup to another folder (I'd suggest under \winnt, 
so you can access it from recovery console) - and build up a set of alternates.
