Well I got to thank all in this thread and special thanks to Jon for starting this.
I too had the same 2 errors and fixed the first one using this method, rename d3d8thk
etc and it fixed that. Hmm si I thought what about doing the same for the second.
To cut a long story short. I replaced all the files listed in system32 with the reg
dll files ( NOT THE XPG FILES, those belong to xp I think.) with the ones in the
dirextx cab dxnt and ran dxdiag,, no more errors.. I hope it lasts and my puter dont
puke, hope this helps others.
